Sara Russell joined Ann Arbor Public Schools in October 2021.  She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education and graduated from Marygrove College with a Master's Degree in Education.  Teaching since 2006, Mrs. Russell interned in kindergarten and has taught first, second, third, and fourth grades in public and private schools.  Mrs. Russell’s goal is to provide a rich and rewarding classroom community and learning environment.  When she is not teaching, Mrs. Russell enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, playing with her dog, traveling, scrapbooking, taking photographs, and watching Spartan football.  Mrs. Russell is overjoyed to be working in the diverse and welcoming Ann Arbor community.
