Hi! I’m Gina Maksimchuk. This is my 10th year teaching at Abbot. I’ve also taught a 1st and 2nd grade split and special education. I attended the University of Michigan for my Bachelor’s and received my Master’s from Eastern Michigan University. I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten! Five year olds never cease to amuse and amaze me. Each year brings new little smiling faces who are excited to be at school. What a privilege to get to share that and encour年龄 curiosity and lifelong learning!

I live in the Abbot neighborhood- say hello if you see me! My husband, Dmitrii, and I have two daughters: Ellie and Caroline. Ellie loves to climb trees and try new hairstyles. She is in Kindergarten this year. Caroline loves to meet new people, do anything her sister is doing, and play with our dog, Blitzen. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, trying new foods, and nature walks. We also like to travel and see new places together.
