Hello Mitchell Family!

I am truly excited to be a second grade teacher at MItchell! This will be my 25th year teaching second grade in the public schools! Yes, I LOVE second grade! I graduated with a BA in education from Easterm MIchigan University and then pursued my Masters in Education from Marygrove College.

 I am a native of Michigan and have been in the Ypsilanti/AnnArbor area for the last 28 years. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, exercising and spending time with my family. My husband and I love to visit Mackinac Island during the pleasant months of Michigan. Our daughter Zoey is a senior at Madonna University. She plays on Madonna’s softball team and lives and works on Mackinac Island during the tourist season. Kenlee, our son, is a junior at WIHI. He plays on the baseball team and has been dancing with a studio since he was three.
